Backlit palm leaf

A palm leaf held up to the sun rather than photographed in reflected light, which turns it from a green surface into something closer to stained glass - every vein a darker line where the tissue is thickest, the blade glowing where it is thin enough to let light straight through.
Close enough to be abstract, and cropped too tight to say which palm; a houseplant on a Finger Lakes porch rather than anything growing wild. The small dark specks are almost certainly insect damage. A leaf this size rarely gets through a season without something taking a bite of it.
