Where the creek opens out

A hemlock leaning out over the water breaks up an otherwise unbroken gold canopy - the evergreens are what keep a Pocono forest from going fully bare. Eastern hemlock is the tree that made these gorges: it holds the banks, shades the water cold enough for trout, and is now dying across the region from an aphid-like insect called the woolly adelgid, so a big hemlock over a creek is worth a photograph while there are still some.
