A small convoy of Trabants, in the bright non-factory colours that mark them out as a tourist tour rather than daily transport. Guided drives through the city in East Germany's old family car are a minor industry now.
The Trabant ran on a two-stroke engine and a body of Duroplast, a resin reinforced with cotton waste, chosen because steel was rationed in the GDR. It stayed in production with barely any change from 1957 to 1991, which is most of why it became a symbol of the system that built it.
Birds, insects, plants and other wildlife, mostly from Brooklyn, with some from further afield.
