Shibuya Crossing
Tokyo · 4 October 2017
A quarter of a second, which is about what it takes to turn a crowd into weather. At the busiest times a single light cycle sends something approaching three thousand people across from all sides at once.
The figures that resolve are the ones who were standing still - waiting, or filming the people who weren't.
Birds, insects, plants and other wildlife, mostly from Brooklyn, with some from further afield.
