Close enough to read the individual bands in the rock.
Sedona's red comes from hematite, an iron oxide coating the sand grains of what geologists call the Schnebly Hill Formation - laid down as dunes and tidal flats roughly 275 million years ago and iron-stained long after the fact by groundwater passing through. It is, in effect, rust, and the whole landscape is the colour of an old nail.
