First snow above Pontresina

The first snow of the season, in the middle of September, which is early even at this height. The zigzags are summer walking paths. The ground on them is bare and compacted, so the snow sits differently and the whole hillside is briefly mapped.
Taken on a phone. Usually the wrong tool and occasionally the right one - there was nothing in this to record but tone.
Birds, insects, plants and other wildlife, mostly from Brooklyn, with some from further afield.
