Christmas Day, Fordwich
Fordwich · 25 December 2020

Christmas Day, with the light already low enough to pick out the far hedge and leave the whole foreground in shadow.
Fordwich sits on the Great Stour a few miles below Canterbury and claims to be the smallest town in Britain. It kept its town status from a mediaeval charter long after it had stopped being anything but a village, and still has a town hall, Tudor and timber-framed, said to be the smallest in the country too.
Birds, insects, plants and other wildlife, mostly from Brooklyn, with some from further afield.
