Boats on the lake

Cloud sitting on the ridge, three boats pulled up on the dock, nobody about. Mid-June, and the weather doing what it does here for most of the year.

The lakes on this peninsula sit in valleys the glaciers cut and then dammed with their own debris. The mountains behind still feed them.

Birds, insects, plants and other wildlife, mostly from Brooklyn, with some from further afield.
