Bear track

A hind foot in drying mud, with the claw marks well clear of the toe pads. That separation, and the fairly straight line the toes make, both point to grizzly rather than black bear - a black bear's toes arc more and its claws are shorter and land closer in. I would not stake much on a single print in soft mud, but grizzly is the way it reads.
The front print is partly visible below it, which is how bears usually leave tracks: the hind foot lands more or less where the front one did.
