A tiered waterfall

Water threading down a broad, stepped rock face in a dozen separate ribbons rather than one drop - very possibly Amicalola Falls, one of the taller cascades in the range, though I can't be certain which trail this is from.

Bare winter trees let far more of the fall show through than the same view would offer in full summer leaf. Amicalola is Cherokee for tumbling waters, and the trail from its foot is the approach to the Appalachian Trail.

Birds, insects, plants and other wildlife, mostly from Brooklyn, with some from further afield.
