A street off Nevsky Prospekt

One of the pedestrianised streets running off the main avenue, on a flat grey morning before much had opened. Black and white because there was almost no colour to lose. Nevsky Prospekt was laid out in the 1710s as the road from the Admiralty to the monastery, and the side streets were cut to a plan drawn before most of the buildings on them existed - which is why they run so straight, and why the lamps line up.
Birds, insects, plants and other wildlife, mostly from Brooklyn, with some from further afield.
