A smaller fall

Water cutting a notch in the same basalt escarpment, on a scale nobody stops for.
The ice has built out from both sides while the middle keeps running, which is what happens when a fall is fed steadily enough not to freeze but the rock either side stays below zero. Given a colder month the two halves meet. The green under the ice on the left is moss, still going in December. It survives because the water keeps it just above freezing.
